This notice explains what personal data Trade Metrix collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to satisfy the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the rules made under it.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Who we are and how to reach us
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Trade Metrix Technologies is the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data we process. Data protection enquiries: info@trademetrix.tech, or by post to Floor 1, near TVS Showroom, Panna Mod, Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
2. What we collect
Data you give us
Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the content of your enquiries. If you purchase a plan we also process billing details; we never see or store your full card number.
Data generated by your use
Your strategy configurations, parameters, research notes, backtest and paper-trading activity, and the results those runs produce. This is what the product exists to produce.
Technical data
IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate region, and timestamps. We collect this to keep the service running and to investigate abuse.
Data we never receive
We never ask for, and never want, your broker password, withdrawal permissions, or one-time passwords. If anyone claims to represent us and asks for them, it is a fraud attempt — report it and change your password.
3. Why we process it, and on what lawful basis
To provide the service you bought
Contract under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Without this data the platform cannot run your strategies or show you results.
To respond to you before you buy
Legitimate interests — answering an enquiry you sent us. We keep the enquiry only as long as needed to handle it.
To keep the service secure and available
Legitimate interests — preventing abuse, diagnosing faults, and enforcing these terms.
To meet legal obligations
Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests from competent authorities.
For our own marketing
Only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. We do not buy contact lists and we do not sell your data to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with processors who host the service, deliver email, take payments and measure how the site performs, each under a written obligation to keep it confidential and to use it only for us. We disclose data to a government or regulator only where we are legally required to, or where we genuinely believe a serious risk of harm exists and delay would make it worse.
5. How long we keep it
Your strategy data and configuration are kept for as long as your plan is active, so that your work is there when you return. If you terminate, we delete it within 30 days except where we must retain it to meet a legal or tax obligation.
Enquiry and support records are kept for up to 24 months. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months. Financial records are kept for the period required by tax law, which is generally 8 years.
6. Cookies and measurement
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember interface choices. Analytics are not loaded until you accept them, which is what the consent banner on our site is for. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build cross-site profiles of you.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a portable copy, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, or complain to the Data Protection Board of India. We respond within the period the Act requires, and we do not charge for a request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Where we rely on consent, withdrawing it does not affect processing done before withdrawal. Where we rely on contract or legal obligation, we cannot delete data without breaching that.
8. Security
Access to personal data is restricted to the people who need it. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on infrastructure we operate access controls on. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to harm you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board within the period the Act requires.
9. Children
Our platform is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and if we discover that we have, we delete it.
10. Changes and complaints
If we change how we handle your data in a way that affects you, we will tell you before the change takes effect. Complaints go to the proprietor, reachable at info@trademetrix.tech, and if you are not satisfied you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Contracting entity
